Summer Vacation 2014: Priest Gulch: Day 3!!!

We made it to Priest Gulch RV Resort, just outside Dolores, CO.! It was a rough drive as soon as we left Lake Powell...due to "Red Flag Warnings." Yeah, we encountered the wind alright...the whole way...so that slowed us down quite a bit; but by the grace of God, with his protection, we made it safely. Let me tell ya...this RV resort is a gem! We found a place that we will definitely return to. Not only do they have campsites, but lots of little cabins to stay in as well. This land up here, in Priest Gulch, of the San Juans...amazingly beautiful and grand! The Dolores River is directly behind our trailer, and I mean directly. In all the years we've gone camping...never have we been this close to a river (last year's Lava Hot Springs, ID. was close, but this beats it). Breathtaking, peaceful, soothing. We are staying here for three nights.
