Rainbows and such

Let's see shall we...

The weather is warm, the clouds big and puffy, yep, it is wonderful. We had a huge storm the other day. The kids and I were in the truck just waiting for it to lighten up, it didn't so I had to grab them and run. My jeans got so soaked, like I walked in a lake, and that was just from the truck to the house door. Crazy, but I love it. Everything is green and the natural sunflowers are starting to bloom. We are approaching August, and I think it is one on the most beautiful months up here.

I have six more summer school days, which means three weeks. Then a short break before the fall semester starts. Time continues to pass on by.

Here are some rainbow pictures taken from the other evening at our house. It was a perfect rainbow, from end to end. God's beauty shines.

Lets see, last week was busy, and I don't mean super super busy; just busy enough to where I felt like I couldn't get anything done. We also just came back from Crestline over the weekend (Thursday through Saturday). Always really fast. I so planned on seeing my friend Sarah. It has been close to a year since we last saw each other. Unfortunately, I had to cancel on her because I received a massive headache that didn't want to go away. I haven't had that bad of a headache in so long. Other than that, it was nice visiting the family. Jeff brought his steam engine over to ride it on his Dad's tracks. It ran very well. Those two are seriously two peas in a pod. Their trains keep them very happy:) It was cute. The kids always love to go to their grandparents house. They had a blast playing around, getting dirty. It is what they do. Here is something that I realized all of a sudden, Kent's 5th birthday is coming up in a couple of months! What the crap is going on? Five years already? It is going by so fast. So that also means Samantha will be three in three months! Wasn't I just pregnant?

Well Hello!

I took a wonderful walk through Williams last night with my friend, Adi. It was lightly raining, lightning, and some thunder. Town looked busy. People showing up for the 4th of July weekend. I LOVE the 4TH OF JULY! It is the best. Wish we were in Silverton for this weekend, but not this year:( Silverton, CO. has the BEST fireworks display I have ever seen. That town knows how to light up a sky.
So speaking of the rain, it rained through the night. The smell of rain on summer evenings is soooooo wonderful. It is on my "list" of goodness. Some of the other things on that list... pajama time and clean, fresh sheets:)
I hope everybody has a safe and fun 4th of July weekend! SO PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN (even when we have a dumb ass for a president)!
