Summer Vacation 2014: Lake Powell: Day 1!!!

Good evening. The family and I are spending our first vacation night, here at Lake Powell. We will be here tomorrow night as well. Our new/used F-250 pulled the trailer wonderfully. Blessed we made it here to Lake Powell safely. When we arrived this afternoon, we got all set up, and headed to our swimming spot, "Lone Rock Beach." The water felt so soothing and cooling. The day reached a 100 degrees, so that water was just what we needed. We had BBQ hotdogs and had some icecream for dessert. Now I'm sitting by the fire typing up our first of many vacation posts. The plan is for me to blog each night, while on our trip...so stayed tuned!
