Good New Year to you all! We started off 2013 doing what we love to do...go camping with our trailer! When we woke up yesterday morning...it was freezing! Our low...-4.9. I took a picture of it; because some people just don't believe we can get that cold out here! Well there it is! So...after having our morning coffee and a little of the Rose Parade; we started packing up, loading up, and getting everything connected, for our camping trip! We decided to take our trailer to Lake Powell, at the Wahweap RV Marina and Campground. It's the only campground with full hook-ups, and it is on the Arizona side of the lake. I made reservations...and off we went! We left the house yesterday, around 12:30-1:00...and got to our destination before 4:00. It is so empty out here, this time of year. It is also very cold (it is January, after all). This trip to Lake Powell is indeed, my very first time, as with the kids. I am pretty excited! We plan on camping until Friday morning; that way, the kids and Jeff will have the weekend to recover, before school resumes next week, and work. I be taking more pictures of the next couple of days...we plan on hitting up our much loved Lee's Ferry too. It is awesome being out here when it's the off season. There were like four other RV'ers' in the campground. Pretty chill. So that's all I have to say for now!
