It's Chicken Wednesday! Today I cleaned out their coop, making everything fresh and clean. I had to hold off cleaning for over a week, because I have been super sick, but I am finally turning a corner (hope it lasts). My ears are still very plugged up, and I still have that dang tickle cough...but doing much better. The gals and the gentle-roo, of the Chicken Inn, are all doing well, and thriving! These chickens and little "roolet" are getting so big and beautiful, and "handsome." Marty is behaving himself. He crows everyday, stronger and stronger. I LOVE IT! Makes us laugh when we hear him announcing, whatever it is he is announcing! The little ladies are chatting it up all the time. I enjoy sitting outside watching/listening to them, or just hanging out inside the coop for a few minutes, taking in their company. Curly has finally noticed the chickens. His eyes and ears caught attention the other day, while they were in their outdoor space. He wanted to go after them. Sorry Curly. Not allowed. It is one beautiful Spring day up here! The trees have their leaves, my flowers look good out on our front porch, the pond is turquoise blue, with the three koi fish still alive. Feeling pretty blessed to be living in such a beautiful place. Good times.
