This is our second day of camping...location, Lone Pine, CA.

Yesterday we arrived at Death Valley. That place is so cool. I wish we had more time there to explore...but we were just staying for a night. We did get to check out Furnace Creek Ranch (awesome) and the Badwater, elevation -282 ft. below sea level. Because of the wet winter; there was actually water still sitting out there on the salt. That was crazy to walk on. The picture with me and the kids looks pretty amazing. You can see the reflection in certain areas.
This afternoon we arrived in Lone Pine, at our campground, Boulder Creek. I am able to log in and update the blog because they offer free WiFi and we have FULL HOOK-UPS! A treat :) The kids got to experience a bath in our trailer, because of the water being able to run freely. They liked it, because it was "their" size. We took a nice early evening drive to the base of the Sierras; and located Lone Pine creek, that will be flowing like crazy in the coming weeks; due to all of the snow melting off the mountains. The kids love going to see water. They love throwing rocks in. It was peaceful. I was able to bond with God for a short time without distractions. Isn't it amazing that it is so easy to talk and pray with God when you are at a beautiful, nature filled place? I think so. Maybe it is just me, but I doubt it :) Recharging the batteries...so needed.
I took some pictures of part of our campground here in Lone Pine. We are here tonight and two more nights after. I just wanted to post an update. There will be another post, most likely tomorrow after another full day. Good times, good times:)
