"Hey Honey...did we have a river in our backyard when we left?"

It was sad to leave, but felt great to get home. While we were gone, the snow had been melting like crazy! The first sign of spring...which is in fact, TOMORROW! Happiness :) We can see lots of ground, and actual grass turning green in certain areas. Now you talk about the water...oh man, do we have LOTS of water! It is everywhere up here! Areas we never knew could hold water, lakes overflowing, etc. The part I am super excited about, is our dry creek bed is flowing like a river right now! It goes all through our backyard. It flows, then settles like a lake, then continues to flow again. The sound of it is so peaceful. Jeff was so funny, he saw that and the first thing that came to his mind, "Ah, it seems I need to rethink the layout of my railroad." This is a good thing to happen, because even if this water only flows from time to time, it gave him a picture of the trouble areas; if to be placing it near this creek bed.
