Going Ons At The Homestead

Chickens have been producing a lot of eggs. With only the occasional eaten one (thanks a lot Caramel). Lucy was enjoying a nice drink of water, at the stock pond. Alpacas are looking fat with their fiber, and shearing day is on the horizon, which is near the end of this month. I finally painted their names on signs (took me long enough), and Jeff secured the signs outside their shed, and it looks oh so rustic. Jeff and I repainted his gas engine, and just spruced it up again, and it looks great! He has restored it, and added a headlight, a stack and sand dome, and he is currently working on making that horn functional. The last time it was painted, was 10 years ago. It was time. So we all had a day at home, and enjoyed it!
