Today we spent our time, at Glacier National Park. I was blown away! The glacier lakes; high mountain peaks; the narrow/steep climbing roads; the animals; the rivers; waterfalls; Lake McDonald; Lake St. Mary; Swift Current Lake...! *By the way...Lake McDonald has the clearest/bluest/emerald water I have EVER seen in my entire life! I've seen some clear lakes...but people...THIS ONE TOPS THE LIST!* We drove by two lodges/hotels, that were breathtaking and historical (what isn't up there, really?!)...the red tour car/buses (that are very historical, and still being used today). We saw a historical forest service cabin, and it's log supply shed, all from 1913. The list can go on and on and on! If any of you have not been to this national park...YOU MUST PUT IT ON THE LIST, AND DO IT! The kids and I loved seeing it for the first time, and Jeff felt like he was "coming home;" Mr. Nature Man and all :o) It is really great having Jeff us our tour guide, because he knew where to go, and where to take the awesome pictures of this awe inspiring land! God created one heck of a scene! Such a fabulous day!
