Summer Vacation 2013: Days Ten & Eleven: Stanley, Idaho & Ely, Nevada!!!

I missed out blogging last night, because I was pretty exhausted with our long travel, and Internet wasn't that great to do anything...but alas...here I am catching up. Okay...we are currently on our travels back home; but having to break things up, because leaving Kalispell, Montana, and going all the way back to Parks, Arizona, is quiet the feat! Yesterday, we stayed at Torrey's RV Park, just outside of Stanley, Idaho. It was a cute and nice campground, with only ten sites, and we got the last one! Thank goodness on that, because we were so tired. After I cooked us up some steak fajitas for dinner, we drove into Stanley, and took a look at the Sawtooth mountains! That was my first time seeing them, and WOW. Another great mountain range. I remember seeing the Sawtooth in the Clint Eastwood movie, "Pale Rider." Our stay at Torrey's was lovely, and the owners were very kind. This morning, we woke up, packed up, and made our way to Ely, Nevada! These last two days of driving, have been very long, and we were so thankful, once again, when we arrived here, at the KOA in Ely! Praise Jesus for keeping is safe! This KOA is really kept up, and very pleasant to be at. The kids immediately ran to the playground, and I started cooking dinner...cheese enchiladas! We are actually staying here, at this KOA, until Monday morning, and that means, one more very, very long day of traveling, to make it home Monday; but lets not talk about going home just yet...being here in Ely, it is a steam train town, the Nevada Northern Railway. So OF COURSE we have to make time for steam!
