Mother's Day Weekend In Desert & Mountain

We had one busy Mother's Day weekend! It started Friday, at dinner time, when we arrived at my parents house, in Desperate Hot Springs.  We immediately got to have a yummy dinner, and visit with the folks, Nana and Pappy, and Joshua. After dinner we took a nice walk in the wind. It felt good to move, since we were in the Mustang all day. We just all visited and ate food. Always my favorite things to do. Saturday morning, after having our coffee, breakfast, and getting ready, Jeff and I headed up the mountain, to the Lake Arrowhead Resort. We were there for Mom Stafford's oldest granddaughter, Britanny's wedding. We got to stay in a wonderful, lake view room, and we could even see where the ceremony would be. We connected with all the family, grabbed some lunch, and then Jeff and I took a stroll, by the lake and Lake Arrowhead Village, for some ice cream. When we walked back to our room, it was time to get ready for the ceremony. The wedding was absolutely beautiful, and the bride, stunning. The reception was fantastic too; and Jeff and I got to sit with brother Mark, Paula; Blake and his girlfriend, and his son Cooper, Matt and Michelle and their son Mark. It was the fun table all the way! It was a lot of fun, seeing family, having entertaining conversations, and of course, food. Sunday we woke up, had our in room Starbucks coffee, got ready, said our goodbyes, and drove back down to the desperate. We had lunch and a little bit of Mother's Day with Mom, before heading home. It was a whirlwind weekend, but a fun one at that!
