8 Ft. Christmas Tree!!

 We got our Christmas tree last night! Jeff got off work a few minutes early; I ran through Del Taco for dinner, and the kids and I met up with Jeff at Home Depot. We walked in Home Depot, with in mind, that we might buy an artificial tree this year, or in fact, continue on with our tradition with a real tree. Well, after looking at the artificial trees, and seeing the only one we would maybe consider wanting, cost $300. No thank you, you fake piece of tree. So we stepped outside, and low and behold...we found our perfect tree, that literally just arrived at Home Depot. It is an 8-footer, Noble Fir REAL tree. The scent alone...you can't duplicate that fresh tree scent. I inhaled deeply, and was completely brought back to reality. Real all the way. Jeff was also, instantly taken with this tree. Seriously it only took us 5 seconds to say "we will take this one!" Usually we buy our tree at Warner's Nursery, but Home Depot stepped it up this year. Beautiful, fresh (as fresh as can be, shipped from the Northwest and all), and the price! They also put netting around the tree for travel, which Warner's never did, and that was kind of a pain to travel with it, and place it in our home. Our tree, this year, sits in the middle of our house, in between our living and dining room. It is the highest point. It took us until 10:00 last night to finish, and it is so beautiful. We are finally complete with our Christmas decorating! Woohoo! I know I have too many pictures of our tree, but I couldn't help myself!
