58 Boxes; Dishwasher; Christmas Lights!

I have a variety post, this fine Sunday morning. Okay...first off...some of you already know, that we have ordered and purchased new wood laminate flooring. In fact, the 58 boxes of flooring and super tall round tube, holding the floor trim, has been sitting here since last Tuesday. We were so desperately hoping that the installers could install the floors this week; but alas, they are booked all this week. The installers WILL be here on Monday morning, Dec. 3rd, 4th, and possibly Weds., Dec. 5th (depending if they run into a problem or not, they have that "extra" day to work here). So yes, that means three days of absolute ciaos, and displaced rooms. Which rooms you ask are receiving this luxurious upgrade? The foyer; living room; dining room; hallway and our office/family room. It will be fantastic when it's all complete! This delay in flooring installation, means my Christmas decor will also be delayed. My home would normally be all decked out, at this moment in time...but as soon as that last board is in, and the guys are gone...consider this house decked out for Christmas!! I have put up ALL the outside Christmas lights...and this year I even did the roof lights (not Jeff). I decided, well sure...I can climb a ladder and use a staple gun all by myself...and I was right! I DID need Jeff's help for the lights wrapped around our windmill. A new addition to our light display and it looks awesome! Another item on the list of sharing...yesterday we finally replaced our broken dishwasher! When I came home from picking up the kids from my parent's house, I found Jeff in the kitchen, with a very large mess...and a dishwasher in pieces. We then went to Sears and found our "in stock" stainless steel, energy efficient dishwasher...SOLD! It took Jeff a few hours to get it wired and connected...but he did finish the job...and I ran my first load of dishes last night! I love our new dishwasher! It is so much quieter and cleaner than our old piece of crap. Thank you Law-Dog for putting in all that time and hard work!
