We headed out to my folk's house, in Desert Hot Springs. I wanted to get together with my brother, to celebrate our awesome 30th birthdays! It was really great getting to see my family, and my amazing friends (hello Brooke and Sarah)! Ashley also made the trip out, and so did lots and lots of Joshua's co-workers/friends! We had our party on Saturday late afternoon, into the evening. It was funny, because I had my little group, and then there was Joshua's! That man is so popular, and all of his people really like him. I met his boss, and a TV anchor, producers, etc. You name it...they were there! I also finally got to meet Joshua's girlfriend, Francinni, along with her mother and sister. I have some really great friends, that made an effort to see me, and my family. Brooke drove out from Phoenix; and Sarah and her mother Cathy (I call her Mama Norbyrhn), came down from Running Springs. Lets not forget about my SISTER Ashley! She is more my sister, than cousin. I just love that lady! She stayed the night and we really got to bond. The next day, yesterday, we decided to go bowling. Jeff and I hadn't bowled in a few years, so we were all about it! This was also the kids' first time bowling, and they had a blast! My Mom and Dad had fantastic patience with them. It was cute. There was so much food, and pie, and coffee, and food, and some more pie...wow. I do believe I gained 12 lbs. just from the weekend! However...my new workout regimen starts tomorrow, with better eating. I am doing "Insanity." Looking so forward to it...my 60 day challenge! Whoa! So all in all...it was a nice weekend with my favorite "F's"...Family, Friends, and Food! Good times.
