Yesterday Nana and Pappy came up for the day. So we made a trip into Flagstaff. First a stop at Home Depot for paint; to paint the new wall. Second, lunch at where else? The Cracker Barrel (their treat, so nice). Then I took them to my favorite antique store in town. The same place I just bought Kent's dresser. I can keep coming back...it's just that good! Nana and Pappy bought two lamps for Kent's new room, since I had no lighting in there. So that was very thoughtful of them. Plus, Nana came up with a "gift" for Kent's room, a cute "cabin" sign, with all the right colors. Then we hit up two more antique stores in town, but I have to tell ya, those kinda sucked. They had some cute things, but either too cluttered, or too many china sets and jewelery. No thank you! When we were done with that, I took them to Freddy's for some vanilla custard! Yes! That stuff is way too good...dangerous :o) When we came back home, it was time for them to leave, but we sure did have a wonderful visit. After they had left, I had to start painting the wall, front and back. I love the colors...the living room is called "riverbed" and Kent's wall is called "Mesa." Today Andrew came back and finished up the trim and cleaned it up. It looks amazing! When you want good work...he is your man! So I have the walls ready for photo opportunity, but now it is too dark out (hello night time), and I want better lighting for the pictures...so tomorrow I shall take the pictures, and post them on the blog to share. Oh boy!
