Over the weekend we decided to take the trailer out! We camped about 6 miles South from Mormon Lake, off of Lake Mary Rd. We found a great spot right on the edge of the forest and beginning of a wide open, meadow! Of course we had a blast camping, and it was Curly's first time! He loved it (although, yes, he found some dried cow pies). A dog's delicacy? We did a huge loop drive again, enjoying the beauty that surrounds us; and we also drove right in to a big rainstorm up on the Mogollon Rim! Always fantastic...those summer storms :o) We came home Sunday, and Dad and Mom Jenkins were up, staying in Williams. They also had Kyleah (I don't know how to spell her name). She is their granddaughter. I guess that would make me her Aunt. So crazy. That is the first time I met her. She is a sweet girl, and she played well with the kids. So we hung out at the house for a little bit, then off to Cracker Barrel for dinner! FINALLY got to take Dad there (meaning the Flagstaff location). After dinner, we headed back to the house for some more visiting. The following day (yesterday) they came over in the morning to watch the kids for me so I could go do my workout at the athletic club. That was very thoughtful. When I came home form another tough, but awesome workout...the garage was sitting on a trailer, and the man was waiting for me to show him where this garage must go. It was pretty amazing how he maneuvered it into place; and to top it off...it started to rain, I mean pour, I mean dump cats and dogs with super close lightning and the loudest thunder! A huge storm right as our garage was being placed! The guy had to wait it out standing inside the garage...I don't know, like 20 min or so...but it finally stopped raining, and he was able to level it, and it is sitting there, all beautiful like, saying, welcome to our Stafford Ranch :o) All pretty exciting! Now our wall is still being worked on, the texture guys were supposed to be here today, but that didn't work out, so tomorrow they do that. Then I paint the wall, and then Andrew comes back for the trim, and to remove the paper along the edges. Whoa. That's it!
