This morning at 9:00 am, Kent and his class graduated from kindergarten! It was a super cute ceremony, and lots of people were there in the old auditorium (which is now the music room). Kent looked so adorable standing up there in front of all those people. The kids received their diplomas, and a gift bag filled with treats. We also got a packet of his school work, a piece of progress each month he was in kindergarten; and his yearbook! After the ceremony, we had cupcakes and juice..he played a bit with some of his classmates; and then we headed home. Mom and Dad Stafford were able to come out here for Kent's graduation, and that means so much to us and the kids. Kent kept telling them thank you for being here. Mom brought a "Cars" themed party stuff for the table, and for Kent, on his big day. Kent loved it all! He sat down at the end of the table (the picture where he has his cap on), and said, "I am the King!" I prepared lunch, which included, BBQ chicken breast (seasoned, of course), with green chilies and pepper jack cheese, on a soft bun; so you can just call it an Ortega chicken sandwich; with some tator- tots. Very, very delicious and filling! I took pictures of the cabin Jeff built. It is complete! We just want to buy an outside rustic lamp, for the front of the cabin, above the sign. That will come soon. Mom and Dad Stafford brought over a little kitchen with the play food, and pots, pans, dishes. It fits perfectly and they are loving it! The Grandparents also brought over a tire swing...awesome good fun! It has been a great day, and it is only the afternoon! A blessing to be with family on this special day for Kent.
