First Day Of School 2015

Well. Survived the first day of school...but it wasn't so great for Samantha. She's been sick off and on since Saturday with the stomach bug; and so she spent her first day of school, in the nurses room (I'm the school nurse as well), by my front office. So sad. This just had to happen on the freaking first week of school. Hoping tomorrow she'll get to go to her 3rd grade class. Mr. Kent enjoyed his first day of 5th grade! He has a new teacher named Wendie Hill, and she's new to our school as well. Samantha's teacher, Mrs. Clark, will be giving birth tomorrow, which means, she's out on maternity leave until October...so Amber Robertson will be Samantha's long term sub until then. The picture I took of the kids this morning, looks sad. Kent looks tired and Samantha looks sick. So I'm not going to post it. Maybe I'll take another one tomorrow. I was super duper crazy busy today. CrAzY busy. At one point, this morning, I had 15 parents in the office, phones ringing, and papers flying about! I feel like I passed the test. It was challenging...but I loved the busy factor of it all, as it makes the day move. I also know, the beginning of school and the end of school, are always the craziest...so hey alright, I'm on my way!
