Yesterday afternoon, we decided to go to the Deer Farm, a few miles away from our home. Jeff and I hadn't been there in years, and we wanted to enjoy the nice weather, and take the kids to see some 100 deer and other animals. We had a blast! Those deer crack me up! My hand was wet from all the deer licks and soft little mouths, eating from my hand. I fell in love. Samantha was very intimidated, and Kent would toss the feed to the ground, for the deer, and Jeff watched in amusement. It's pretty awesome to be walking along a trail, and have a deer walk right along beside you, like it's your own personal pet! The Deer Farm had a buffalo, a camel named Gracie (cutest camel ever), elk, minature donkeys, wallabies, chickens, peacocks, minature horses, llamas, pigs, goats, stinky tiny monkeys (that actually kinda freak me out. They're cute, but creepy at the same time). I think about diseases and how monkeys are always carriers to the next plague or something. Lots of animals on the farm! Our family loves animals, so it was a nice treat to spend the afternoon there.
