Saturday, the kids and I headed to Chino for the day, to visit the folks, while poor Jeff had to work, while he was sick. Yep. Jeff had the stomach flu over the weekend, but thank God he is better from that! Since he worked Saturday, he had yesterday off, to recover. Now he has a cold. I had that same cold a week ago. Is it me, or is everyone sick, or getting sick, or had been sick? Yeah. Having a cold is a bummer, because you feel like crap, but you're not so sick to stay home in bed. Fun times. Okay. Back to the weekend. I had a really nice day with the folks. They took the kids and I to this music store, in Prescott, called "Pops!" Awesome little music store. LOVED it. I explored the pianos (of course), while my parents were shopping for guitars. I am in love. I found my new, future, digital piano. I love my current piano, have had it for 11 years. Nothing is wrong with it...but when, if, I need to get a new piano...I have located it, in Prescott. For lunch, my parents took us to a wonderful little pie/sandwich shop, called "Berrys." Oh man. Lunch was so flavorful, and YES, I did have some pie...chocolate meringue pie. I died. I'm on Weight Watchers, so this was the best treat. I have these things called, "splurge points," for Weight Watchers, and yep, that's where the splurge points went, and it was so worth it! Pie. Thank you Lord, for creating the people, so they could create the pie. The rest of the day, I was in a food coma, as we shopped at the mall. It was a full day, and I enjoyed hanging out with the kiddos and my folks. Now it's a Tuesday evening, Jeff is sneezing, Kent is reading a HO scale, train book, and Samantha is playing in her room. A chill evening. There's the update!
