Happy Birthday Samantha!

Happy Birthday, to our sweet little pumpkin, Samantha! Hard to believe she is now six years old. What the heck?! Six years ago today, in just a couple of hours, I was laying down on the surgical table, for my c-section, to get our little one out. Now look at her...SIX! We are very blessed, by our good Lord, to have Samantha as our daughter. So thank you God for Samantha!! Now, lets start with the beginning of this day...We had our FIRST fire of the season going, in our wood burning stove, this morning. It has been very chilly at night, as in, it went into freezing temps. So it was time for that fire to burn, and we have welcomed it. You can see from the photo, that Curly loves it too. Cuteness. We also started off the morning, with Samantha opening her presents. I would like to give another shout out of "Thank Yous" to all the grandparents, great-grandparents, Aunt Nancy, my friends, Adi and Jennifer...Thank You for all the gifts for Samantha (and from two weeks ago, Kent's birthday). I should really be sending out thank you notes...lets see if I can get to that...shall we? Yep. After the gifts being opened, and we all got ready, it was time to head down to Chino, AZ. We returned to Freeman Farm, like last year, to pick and cut our own pumpkins! they had a better selection this year, and everything looked very healthy! We found our four pumpkins, and went on our way. That is the cutest farm, and we are thrilled to even have a place like that, to get to go pick your own pumpkins! Come dinner time, we had McDonald's. Samantha's choice. It is, after all, her birthday :o) When we came back home, it was time to cut the cake (which I made for her). A strawberry cake, with pink vanilla frosting! Yes, it was so good. Pink and more pink for the girl. You could say, we had a very nice day. Geeze...the kids are now six and eight. Where does the time go? No really. Where does it go? Thank you Lord for such an amazing day. We feel very blessed.
