Second...such a fun experience today. Adi came over, and we let all the kids play; while we made HOMEMADE strawberry jam! Never before have I done that, and she was kind enough to buy the "Ball" canning supplies, as I pitched in for the strawberries, sugar, etc. I loved doing this! Adi and I plan on making more homemade items, come this Autumn, such as, PUMPKIN BUTTER! Somebody help me...that is just around the corner! Back to the jam...it has to settle for 12-24 hrs. and then I get to try it. It wasn't hard to make at all, and it smelled great. We did do a little tasting, and it was so mouth watering delicious. As you can see, I have more than one jar, so if any of you family/friends come over...this should be available for your toast in the morning or those peanut butter and jam sandwiches! This made me feel like a pioneer woman!
