"Raise the Boiler!"

The first photo is Kent's "mine shaft" entry at his ghost town. Pretty clever of him, to create this mine shaft in the boulders on our property. We have our kid into old mines and ghost towns! Yes! The other photos (which are after the raising of the boiler, but should have been first) show Jeff's boiler firedoor, water glass and other knobs to operate, that he had just finished placing. I love the tiny little handles...so cute! Also...today was the day the boiler was raised (with the help of his handy dandy tractor, and me balancing it). It is so heavy, that was the only way of placing it on the frame. It was a little scary, but it worked! Very clever. It is a momentous day here at the Stafford ranch! The weather is also so beautiful! Sun is shining, squirrels are causing chaos, and birds are chirpping...spring is almost here!
