Got Turkey Vultures?

My camera does not give justice to what I really see. There were 11 turkey vultures in three different dead trees on our property. They look so dreadful. Why oh why were they on OUR trees? What were they waiting for? Since you don't usually see 11 vultures hang out on your property everyday...I took their pictures and they just stared at me...probably hoping I would fall over and die. When we were all riding the train around...their eyes and strange little heads would just follow our every move. Creepy birds. But they gave me something to write about!

On another completely different subject...still don't know if I got the job. I called the HR gal yesterday, and she said hopefully early next week they should know, and that I would get a call either way it goes. Okay.

Samantha LOVES, LOVES, LOVES dresses. Everyday she requests to be dressed in one. She only has like four or five...so washing those a lot. I have to stand strong just to put her in a cute shirt and jeans. She is so opposite of me. I would MUCH rather be in jeans and a shirt than a dress (unless I get to "dress up" for a special occasion). I find this interesting. She is such a girlie girl, because also...she is all about having her nails painted. She wants that pretty pink color on!

Kent is going to be a carpenter, I am convinced. That kid is building things like crazy and tries to fix things. Super smart. We will be taking him to his new school on the 26th of July to register him and they will show him and us around the school; and school starts Aug. 18th. Later than I originally thought...but that is so coming up fast! We will be buying him a backpack soon...cant wait. This is an important milestone in his life ;-)
