It is April! Well okay : )

We had a really nice Easter with Dad and Mom Stafford. They came up with their Airstream the day before (a great surprise) and stayed here until Monday morning. We were so happy to have them here and the kids had a fun time...So Easter preparation started on Friday night when we went to our friends house to have a BBQ and dying the eggs. My friend Adi is so thoughtful and prepared...she had 4 dozen eggs already boiled (each kid got a dozen) and the she also had a little Easter cup, an Easter egg filled with goodness for all the kids! I didn't have my camera, but they did, and so pictures were taken with their camera. I hope to get them emailed to me soon, and then I shall post them. It was a great Friday night! On Easter Sunday, we woke up early (no choice with it comes to the kids; they are always up early); and they received their Easter buckets (yes, buckets, not baskets); the Easter egg hunt went on after that; and then Jeff read from the same Bible his parents read to him when he was a child. Very sweet. Of course it was on when Jesus was resurrected from the dead (hello Easter)! The kids sat there and listened. Kent was understanding it, which is so special. I had tears in my eyes, because it is amazing to see our children understand what Jesus is all about. It is so important to plant the seeds in their brain, to let them know how important God and Jesus are in our lives : ) God is good!!! Around lunch time we headed out to the Cracker Barrel, yes. Yum. Really enjoyed that! Then took a nice Sunday afternoon drive, watched a movie with Mom, and I cooked Easter dinner...which included lemon pepper chicken breasts, green beans, buttery, flaky biscuits, watermelon, and skillet potatoes with onions. Dessert...a layered chocolate cake. So good! That is what happened over the weekend!
