As I am typing up this morning's blog post, I am wearing my pjs, and drinking my coffee, because, yes, it's a snow day. Finally. I'm so thankful for this snow day, especially since we had a very quick trip to Crestline over the weekend. We arrived Friday night at Dad and Mom Stafford's house, and stayed until yesterday morning. We celebrated Jeff's birthday with them, along with brother Mark and Paula, and Gayle's daughter, Heather, and her daughter Emily. It was a nice family day on Saturday...visiting, eating, laughing. Mark and Paula bought Jeff a "Frozen" piñata (which was hilarious). Jeff, Kent, and Dad went after the piñata...then the kids collected all the candy. The weather started off with some brief sunlight, but then it was our standard Crestline weather...that's right folks...fog and tree rain! We enjoyed it though, because it's different than what we get at home. Sunday we left in the morning, to pick up Curly, and head home before the winter weather started. We received 7 inches of snow! Love that we have a snow day!
