Another fire and such...

These pictures were taken this afternoon when a third fire started in a week! This fire created its own clouds and could have or did create its own storm. That was the craziest thing we have seen. These pictures were taken from our road. Our forest fire friend, Keith, stopped by to let us know how the more local, Eagle Rock fire was doing, and it is almost contained. But we have had so much wind that it needs to be monitored; as with this new fire. The 1st fire near our area started by lightning. The second fire in Flagstaff started because of an idiot had an illegal campfire and it got out of control. This fire most likely started by another idiot. No worries, though, we have been blessed, thus far, that these fires are far enough away from us. Ready for the summer rains to arrive to get this fire danger down.

On another note, we had Joshua and Samantha up for a day and night. They came up yesterday around lunch time and left this morning. We had a great time. It was really special to have them alone, not with other family intruding. Our quality time, everybody needs that. We took them up to the Snow Bowl and took the Sky Ride (ski lifts) up to the top. We knew they would love getting up to 11,500 ft. and they did love it! Joshua thought the forests were amazing and the views! While we were up there we could see that second fire start up. After that experience, we came back to the house. Shot the Red Ryder gun many times, played horse shoes, had a BBQ, and just relaxed. It was a great day. Jeff and Joshua had their "man" time having a cigar and good conversation on the back deck. Samantha and I looked at Arbonne products and enjoyed each others company. I really really love her. She is so sweet and very considerate to me and my family; and BONUS, she loves my brother :-) Jeff's Dad arrived this early evening to stay for a few days. Gayle is in Washington with her daughter and grand daughter until next Monday. We also leave for our camping trip on Saturday! Good times to be had!!
