Did Somebody say summer school? Get out of here!

Today is my second day of summer school math. Wonderful. Fortunately it seems I have a good math instructor and the class is only Mon & Wed from 2:30-4:55 (originally to 5:15) but she is being nice to the whole class, all SEVEN of us, by letting us go early. I really hope my brain starts to remember what I just learned from my last math class, because right now, it's still acting like it's on vacation.

This past Saturday, Jeff, the kids and myself went to the Walt Disney Christmas Carol Promotional Train tour. Wow, a lot to say. It is the new movie starring Jim Carrey & Colin Firth, along with other actors like Gary Oldman and Robin Wright Penn. Anyway, it's a train that is filled with information about how the movie was created. I stepped in and immediately I felt like I went back in time. The fabric walls, the dark wood, old lamps that give that Disney flicker (you know what I am talking about, Pirates and Haunted Mansion style flickering lights). I could tell they put A LOT of money and time into this train tour. Walking from train car to train car there was a different experience. One of the cars felt like an actual movie studio. It was AWESOME, and the kids enjoyed it too. After the walk through, we got to see a sneak peek of the movie in 3D, so that was fun. Kent and Samantha were very good and quiet. That was their first little experience of a movie theater. It was all pretty amazing and how fortunate we were to have that train stop in Williams. It is going all over the U.S. and Williams was the second stop:)

So that is what is happening. Loving the warm days and beautiful green landscapes from all that May rain we received!
